Dr. Om Murti Anil is founder and chairman of National Cardiac Centre,Basundhara,Kathmandu. He has done DM Cardiology from AIIMS, New Delhi.He is honoured with prestigious FACC (Fellow of the American College of Cardiology) and FSCAI (Fellow of the Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions).

He has experience of more than 15 years in different subspeciality of cardiology.He has performed more than 7000 cardiac invasive procedures in Nepal mainly  Angioplasty Pacemaker,Angiography.He is popular in country for his contribution in prevention of heart disease in Nepal by increasing  public awareness through various activities.

Dr Om Murti Anil is one of the most popular cardiologist in Nepal in social media for his regular health tips and medical informations he provides through his facebook page Dr. Om Murti Anil. He is awarded for his contribution with different medals by President of Nepal like Suprabal Jansewaa Shree III, Nepal Bidhyabhushan padak -I, Best paper award 2018 by NHRC & MSMT (Mrigendra Samjhana Medical Trust) by Nepal Heart Foundation.

He has aslo conducted one of  largest research so far conducted in Nepal for detection of cardiovascular risk factors among  5500 healthy young individuals of Kathmandu in year 2014.

He is also author of a very popular and health informative book "Ma Pani Doctor" aimed to improve medical knowledge for common people.
